Dear Valued Client,

We are pleased to inform you that the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has approved the spin-off of BPI Asset Management and Trust Group (BPI AMTG) to a newly-established Stand-Alone Trust Corporation (SATC) named BPI Asset Management and Trust Corporation (BPI AMTC).

BPI AMTC was granted the license to operate as an SATC on December 29, 2016. BPI AMTC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) will officially commence its operation on February 1, 2017.

Albeit the change from BPI AMTG to BPI AMTC, rest assured that there will be no change to our investment, account management and operations teams and processes to ensure that our clients experience the same superior quality of fund management service nurtured by your respective Account Officers (AO) or Investment Counselors (IC) through the years. You may continue to do all your Unit Investment Trust Fund (UITF) related transactions through the BPI and BPI Family Savings Bank branches, BPI Express Online and BPI Express Mobile Application.

As an asset management client of BPI AMTG, you will automatically become a client of BPI AMTC and you will continue to enjoy the 165 years of rich heritage, commitment, reliability and stability of BPI.

Should you have any question or clarification regarding the foregoing, you may contact your AO or IC anytime or, you may email us at bpi_asset_management@bpi.com.ph.

You may refer to this Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to guide you further on the transition process.

Sincerely,

Mario T. Miranda
Senior Vice President and Trust Officer
