Changes to the BPI Invest Balanced Fund

31 December 2021

Dear Valued Client:

We wish to inform you that effective 01 February 2022, the benchmark of BPI Invest Balanced Fund shall be amended as follows:

FROM TO
50% Philippine Stock Exchange Index and 50% return of the 91-day Treasury Bill, net of tax
50% Philippine Stock Exchange Index and 50% BPI Philippine Government Bond 1-5 Year Index

Aligned with this change, some of the Fund’s fixed income holdings may be lengthened beginning 01 February 2022. However, the Fund’s modified duration shall be maintained within five (5) years.

The amendments to the fixed income composition of the Fund are intended to enhance the Fund’s potential returns through increased diversification. These changes are expected to better position clients in the current low-yield environment, which is expected to persist.

While there are amendments to the investment policy of the Fund, the changes remain suitable to the risk profile of aggressive investors. BPI Invest Balanced Fund will continue to be managed with the goal of achieving long term capital growth derived from a diversified portfolio of equity and fixed income securities.

Further, the Plan Rules shall also be amended to better clarify select provisions. For more details on this amendment, you may visit our website at www.bpiassetmanagement.com. A copy of the amended Plan Rules is also available in your branch of account.

Your decision to remain invested in the Fund will signify conformity with the amendments. For any questions, please do not hesitate to call us at (02) 8580-AMTC (2682) or write us at bpi_asset_management@bpi.com.ph.

Thank you for your continued trust.

Sincerely,
SHEILA MARIE U. TAN
President
