BPI Asset Management and Trust Corporation bags back-to-back Awards


 
MAKATI CITY, Philippines – BPI Asset Management and Trust Corporation (BPI AMTC) bagged two additional recognitions this year, affirming the organization’s expertise, innovation and exemplary service for its clients.
 
BPI AMTC was named as the Best Asset and Fund Manager in the Philippines in the 11th Annual Alpha Southeast Asia Best Financial Institution Awards. Furthermore, the BPI Global Equity Fund-of-Funds won as the Best Managed Fund for the Dollar Equity Fund category in the CFA
Society Philippines’ 2017 Best Managed Funds of the Year Awards.

Likewise, the CFA Society Philippines' recognized the organization’s professional excellence and ethical standards within the local investment community. BPI AMTC was aligned with CFA’s thrust of further educating retail investors by introducing them to risk-adjusted fund performance.
 
The CFA Society of the Philippines evaluated a total of 81 funds from 16 houses and Trust Institutions. Besting other dollar equity funds in the industry, the BPI Global Equity Fund-of-Funds emerged as the best-managed fund based on its five-year risk-adjusted returns.
 
Through the BPI Global Equity Fund-of Funds, BPI AMTC provides its investors long-term capital growth by investing in a diversified portfolio of global equity collective investment schemes. The Fund also aims to provide excess return over the Morgan Stanley Capital International World Index, allowing investors to grab opportunities in the global markets.
